Family Reunions

Our homes have been used for years to host memorable family reunions, anniversary celebrations, small weddings, and holidays.  The Lodge at Carolina in the Pines has been around since 1998 when it opened as a luxury B&B with ten remarkable guest rooms.  Ten years and two children later, running a B&B is not an option these days.  The Lodge has been transformed into the perfect private home for family events.  In 2005, we turned the attached owners home into two additional bedrooms (each with private bath) and another greatroom that now boasts a custom pool table, bar, fireplace, and poker table (or additional eating space).

For groups of up to 30 people (or for groups that have a number of adult couples that would prefer privacy versus shared bedrooms), The Lodge is the perfect choice. /i//lodgegreatroom.jpg

/i//tn_Scan104.jpg As the popularity of The Lodge grew with each year and our guests began returning again and again, we felt that we needed another large luxury home.  In 2003, we found the perfect family home inside Keystone Resort.  It had been designed and built by a wonderful man from Texas who had an "everything's big in Texas" concept for homes.

The house is almost 8000 square feet and everything is wonderfully oversized to accommodate lots of family and friends.  The House at Keystone Ranch is the perfect home for large groups (up to 28) with children (the downstairs game room is a dream) or groups that don't put as much emphasis on privacy (they don't mind sharing bedrooms), but want to be inside the resort in luxurious surroundings.  /i//tn_din-P9120307.jpg

The Big Horn Lodge in Breckenridge  is perfect for families that want a downtown Breckenridge family reunion site.  The Big Horn was built as a ski lodge and looks like an old western saloon from the exterior.  Though not terribly pretty from the outside.....inside, The Lodge is warm and welcoming and has everything that you need for a large group.  Big Horn has 10 BR/9.5 Baths and can accommodate up to 24 people.  The best part of The Big Horn is the location in the heart of downtown Breckenridge, the community shuttle stop right outside the front door, and the rooftop deck with two large gas grills, an enormous hot tub, views of the Breckenridge mountains, and space for a family picnic.

The Meadow House at Keystone Ranch is our newest find.  With 8 bedrooms (plus a bunk area) and 7.5 baths, this house is perfect for families with children.  It is located right next to the clubhouse at the Keystone Ranch Golf Course and the community pool!

The Meadow House sleeps up to 26 people and offers a private, door-to-door complimentary shuttle to the lifts, Keystone Village, and restaurants and shops in Keystone.  From the dining room table of this home, you can find the best views of all of our homes (and THAT is saying something!)
